For National Park Visitor Centres

Inspiring visits and widening access at once

A visitor centre is asked to draw people in, support learning and make the landscape accessible to all — often on a tight budget. Real View helps you do all three by sharing your park, live, with the wider public.

The challenge: inspiring visits while widening access

Visitor centres carry a dual remit. You want to encourage people to come and experience the park, and at the same time make the landscape accessible to those who cannot easily travel — through distance, age or mobility — while supporting schools and interpretation along the way. Static photographs and seasonal leaflets only go so far towards either goal.

Real View helps with both at once. We place a live, real-time view of your landscape in front of a wide audience, with your visitor centre named on screen. It plants the idea of a visit by showing the park as it truly is — changing with the weather, the seasons and the light — while making that landscape available to anyone, anywhere, who cannot be there in person.

A live view brings your landscape to everyone — including those who can never travel to experience it themselves.

What it does for your park

More visits, wider access and stronger support for learning — from a single live view.

🏞️

Inspire future visits

A live look at your valleys, peaks or coastline plants the idea of a trip. Real-time beauty is the most natural invitation there is.

Widen public access

Bring your landscape to people who cannot easily travel, so everyone — regardless of age, distance or mobility — can share in your park.

📚

Support learning and interpretation

A live view is a ready-made resource for schools and visitors, showing the landscape, weather and wildlife of your park as they really are.

🌍

Raise your park’s profile

Your park travels into homes, schools and workplaces, building awareness and appreciation of the landscape you protect.

How It Works

Whether you already run a landscape camera or are setting one up, getting your view live is simple.

1

Connect your view

Already stream a camera online? We can work with your existing feed. Starting from scratch? We supply one or more Real View plug-and-play cameras — they arrive ready to go live, with no technical work on your part.

2

We take it live

We handle the deployment. Your view goes live as a stable, broadcast-quality feed with your business named on screen — nothing for your team to manage day to day.

3

Reach your audience

Your view goes live in the free Real View app, with your business named on screen for everyone watching at home. You can run the very same view on a TV at your own venue, turning a screen by the door into a live window onto your location.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it complicated to set up?
No. If you already stream a landscape camera we can often use it. Otherwise we supply one or more Real View plug-and-play cameras with no technical work, needing only power and a connection.
What does it cost a public body or charity?
If you already have a live feed online, listing it on the Real View TV app is free — it stays on your own server, so it costs us nothing to carry. If you would like us to supply the camera, plans start at £99 a month and the camera is included: we ship it, we own it, we manage it remotely — there is nothing to buy. From then on the same feed reaches the TV app, YouTube, an ad-free live window on your own website, and ready-to-post social clips. We are glad to discuss what works for your organisation.
Does it fit a conservation and access remit?
It does. A live view widens public access and supports interpretation and education, while a single fixed camera has no impact on the environment it observes.
How does it deliver value?
Your visitor centre is named on screen for everyone watching in the Real View app, and you can run the same view on screens in the centre itself. It serves visitor inspiration, access and learning together.
Do we control what is shown?
Yes. You choose the camera position and what it frames, and you can change or pause the view at any time.
